In depth

Verdict

TADAANY can hardly be considered thrown in on his handicap debut but won his maiden at Listowel in such style that he looks likely to be better than an 84-rated performer and can follow up. Angel Of Joy ran very well against the well-handicapped Katimavik at Naas last week and looks a big threat while the lightly-raced Expreso Brasileiro also ran well at that same fixture, staying on nicely over a shorter trip. Bobby Jean loves testing ground and any further rain would aid her cause while Hurricane Twister beat subsequent Listed winner Laviniad at Listowel in May, though was receiving lumps of weight. Reckless Lad was engaged in the 5.05 at the Curragh yesterday.
