Benkei has been racing over much shorter but stays the trip and has won around here. Oskar High's stamina came into play at Ballinrobe and though 8lb higher has to be on the shortlist while Lily Light Foot had been in good form in this sort of company before stepping up in class on the latter track where she made too many mistakes. Yenillik went up 11lb for scoring over this trip at Wexford then ran very well over 2m5f at Navan last time but Shannon Gray has never raced over a trip this far. Stamina is the strongpoint of HASCOEUR CLERMONT, a winner over this trip at Bellewstown and an extra furlong and a half at Sligo. He's up 9lb but his rider can claim 3lb extra here so another victory looks on the cards. The Holmeister looked anchored by a 6lb rise at Ballinrobe after completing a double.
