Verdict

HUTTON GLEN had the more-experienced Pearl Of Australia behind when runner-up over a mile at Gowran where he was staying on strongly. He can go one better though Astar's yard is in better form than when she finished runner-up on that same track last month. Parish Green finished last of five on his debut here in August but should leave that form well behind this season but Gimmie Shelter disappointed at Dundalk after a very promising debut at Killarney. Galileo's Compass cost a massive €250,000 and is a full-brother to Group 2 winner Changingoftheguard.
