Verdict
Benbecula started favourite at the Curragh two weeks ago but had nothing more to give inside the final furlong and now has a bit to find with eventual second The Fox Tully, though he still finished a long way in front of General Bunching. Captainofthefleet made all over 2m at Clonmel 11 days ago but is unlikely to be given the same leeway here and a fast pace will suit LETHAL WEAPON. It's a long time since Christy Roche's eight-year-old was in the winner's enclosure but there were definite signs of a revival at Navan earlier this month and he looks well treated at present. Amazing Star missed the break at Leopardstown last time and may do better here if getting away on terms.
