A very competitive handicap in which Gordon Elliott and Henry De Bromhead are double-handed. The former has last year's Killarney Midlands National winner Hurricane Georgie on top weight but Danny Gilligan has been riding winners for the yard including on The Abbey at Down Royal and Limerick and his mount was very impressive in the latter event which is why he's a massive 16lb higher. Popong was a long way behind in the aforementioned Killarney event though still looks best of De Bromhead's duo but STEALTHY TOM still looks on a fair mark despite going up 8lb for scoring at Killarney. He's a very smart performer over the banks course at Punchestown and the ground conditions are in his favour. Pairc Na Ngael, who is in the same ownership as the latter, ran poorly at Kilbeggan last month but would have a real chance on last summer's double-winning form. Go Another One won for the 14th time at Cartmel so can never be ruled out.
