Verdict

An extremely tough handicap for punters to unravel. Clonsilla Fath is 12lb higher after landing a Fairyhouse handicap and ran quite well on the Flat there last week. Doctor Deejay was beaten a head by Archie Meade over 2m4f at Sligo and that looks his trip while Ted Dolly makes his handicap debut after some fair efforts in maidens, though he could be a few pounds high. Tony Mullins has a fine strike-rate on the track and BATTLING BORU has as good a chance as any. He's been mainly consistent but appears to have found his stride and looked in very good heart at Sligo last month. Churchfield Champ finished runner-up that day and is 3lb better off so he's another with a chance while Imperial Shabra reverts to hurdling on a 15lb lower mark than his chase rating and looks a danger to all. Echo Bob has an even bigger advantage being 19lb lower than over fences and it will be a surprise if Henry De Bromhead's consistent performer isn't in the firing line as well.
