It's about time BADGER OR BUST was winning again and this could be his day. The six-year-old has been running very well in similar events and though creeping back up the weights still looks reasonably treated. Chebona Bula made a big splash when easily landing a Clonmel handicap last month but a 9lb rise tempers enthusiasm and the lightly-raced Arakango looks more of a threat after a short-head defeat by Tres Froide at Listowel a week ago. Pedantic landed a Gowran handicap on May Day and could have done to have been closer to the pace when staying on behind Strandfield Lady at Leopardstown.
