Kilcaragh Boy gained his only success to date in this a year ago but arrives in poor form. Rapid Fritz has gone close on several occasions but is still a maiden and has changed stables. Shek O Lad was beaten 2l by BECTIVE CAVE (NAP) over the track and trip last month when the latter was defying a penalty for a victory at Clonmel a few days earlier. The runner-up is 6lb better off but the winner had something in hand and should confirm the form and land a hat-trick. Fly Round The Bend was beaten over 4l when runner-up to the selection in that Clonmel event and with his rider's claim taken into consideration is 12lb better off so looks a real threat. Ted Bach is still a maiden after 15 starts but has produced some strong performances and the assessor has been unable to drop him in the ratings.
