Lethal Power was second on his reappearance at Killarney and then only beaten a length-and-a-half in a handicap at the Curragh. Rated 80, Johnny Murtagh’s colt sets a decent standard in this but there is more than one interesting newcomer among the opposition. John Oxx has just the one runner on the card, the Dansili filly Shringara, but Dermot Weld also introduces a potentially nice sort in TARASILA. The Aga Khan’s filly is by Shamardal and a half-sister to three winners up to 1m4f and her stable is in good form. Ashqar and Maunganui may do better in handicaps while Dream Focus was still beaten seven lengths when second at Killarney.
