This looks much more competitive than the first division. Poetic Lord couldn't get past Cillan's Return in a big field at Tipperary but that was a fine hurdling debut and there's certain to be more to come. Rich Coast is rated 110 on the Flat after landing a Listed contest at Cork in October. He didn't run badly on his hurdling bow but pulled up at Leopardstown in December and hasn't been seen since. Winning bumper Voluptueux started a short-priced favourite on his debut over timber at Kilbeggan but could only finish third behind Queen Alphabet and Erlkonig. The latter has won subsequently so the form looks decent.
