EASY VIC is one of the most frustrating jumpers in training having won just once in 32 starts over hurdles and fences. He's better handicapped over the bigger obstacles but has to be the selection on his narrow defeat by Abolitionist over timber at Punchestown in May as the winner scored again on Sunday. The veteran Golden Kite showed he was no backnumber with a smart victory in a tough handicap chase here a month ago and he's 15lb lower over hurdles so has to be a real threat. Bolands Corner has plenty of ability but doesn't win often enough while Georgie hasn't been running well over fences and it's almost two years since he won a race. Tico is yet another with a poor strike-rate and was a long way behind the selection in that Punchestown event in May.
