Ideal Pal battled on to catch On The Balcony on the line over slightly shorter at Gowran but was unable to cope with a penalty behind the very progressive Patrick Sarsfield at Leopardstown, though that was no disgrace. There's nothing between the aforementioned pair again but ISOTOPE (NAP), who was beaten three lengths into seventh, may have their measure. He didn't get the run of the race and found 1m4f beyond him at the Curragh next time. Rock On Seamie had dropped to his previous winning mark when gaining a surprise victory at Tipperary but is up 7lb while Ally Cay has been raised a massive 14lb for her impressive course and distance success. Jazz Lady has only won over 1m4f and could need the run after such a long absence but she'll be one to note for Galway where she's won twice. Segenhoe is one to note in the market.
