DABADIYAN completed a hat-trick on fast ground last summer and has been competing at a higher level subsequently including in Dubai. He reappeared with a fair effort behind Ernest Hemingway in a Curragh Group 3 last Sunday and, with that under his belt, he can take this. Manalapan was also in action in Dubai earlier this year where he ran well and he would have found a mile too short on his comeback on Irish Derby day so he has to go on the short-list as does Einsteins Folly, who was a couple of lengths in front of him and remains very consistent at this sort of level. Qewy has a penalty for her victory at this level at Leopardstown in April and that was on very testing ground. The Montjeu colt Belisarius is progressing well though this is much tougher than the Dundalk maiden he won in April and the filly Ebeyina found fast ground against her at Gowran after a spectacular victory on heavy going at Cork.
