In depth

Verdict

Banntown Girl attempted to make all at Wexford but had no answer when Ashroe Diamond went past and was beaten 14 lengths. Jody Townend is a positive booking while Lisa O'Neill was on board when Brog Ban Espana looked in need of experience at Downpatrick. Faith Du Val ran quite well at Clonmel while Trim To Milan may not have ben suited by heavy conditions at Wexford. VIA ROSA was always chasing the leaders at Punchestown and kept finding a bit more. She wasn't beaten far and with more to come looks the one to beat.
