In depth

Verdict

John Oxx wouldn't be known for his bumper horses so a chance is taken that O'CAROLAN, a son of the stable's all-time great Sea The Stars, could be good enough to make a successful debut. James Hoban was only caught in the closing stages by Mr Jackman after leading at halfway, form which gives him the beating of Papal Lodge on a line through the winner. Willie Mullins' Wearapinkribbon has a fine pedigree for this sphere as he's a half-brother to a winning bumper out of a mare who won a bumper. Kalinda attracted some support at Limerick and didn't do much wrong so is another to consider under Barry O'Neill
