TRENDY LADY was a long odds-on chance when beaten over 2m at Wexford then was headed right on the line when tackling 2m3f at Downpatrick. She looks to be improving and can make her allowance count against Benny The Duke, who had jumped poorly before finally unseating his rider at Killarney though was there with every chance. Champ De Gane was returning from a long break when narrowly beaten at Down Royal and the longer trip should play to his strengths while Manisanda looked like winning when leading at this trip at Ballinrobe only to be run out of it close home. Golden Armour was staying on over 2m3f at Kilbeggan on his hurdling bow and is a definite contender along with Val The Man, headed right on the line over just short of this trip at Killarney.
