Verdict

Wishing Well won last year’s renewal off today’s mark with 2016 winner Stormin Tom back in fourth. The latter returned to action with a second over track and trip and both of the above could be thereabouts. But NORTHWEST FRONTIER is taken to shrug off a penalty given he won by five lengths over 2m at Nottingham last week and there should be more to come from him over today’s trip. Navajo Star’s saddle slipped when pulled-up behind the selection while Fitzwilly was still well beaten when third at Lingfield and Tiger Twenty Two returns to the Flat for the first time since 2016.
