      Verdict

      Not a contest to get excited about either as a spectacle or a betting medium with very few solid options here and it may pay to take a chance on the only filly in the field CALIFORNIA CLIFFS who hasn't shaped badly in a couple of low-grade handicaps. Permanent would be dangerous if he gains a soft lead despite some doubts about his form with False Id another who has looked to show glimpses of form in handicaps and should find this easier. Calypso Delegator has run well here before but faces a tough task as the weight as do Percy Verence and Rockliffe .
