Verdict

Montaff won this last year from today's mark but that was on fast ground. Eternal Heart and GULF OF NAPLES represent Mark Johnston and it's the latter who gets the vote. The winner of half of his six races, including over this trip at Newmarket in October, he'll be better for his run behind Thimaar at Kempton when Halla San was beaten seven lengths in third. Shubaat looks a big threat as he looked ideally suited to soft ground when storming to victory at Musselburgh and today's extra quarter of a mile looks ideal. Address Unknown's last three starts have been in Listed company so this is a big drop in class.
