In depth

Verdict

The majority of these appear in the grip of the handicapper but SNOWDON is a possible exception. She was a runaway winner by 7l at Yarmouth on her penultimate start and followed up off an 8lb higher mark with a good second to a well-supported Irish raider at Ayr. The form reads well as her nearest victim at Yarmouth has landed a Redcar handicap since and she can take this prize despite another 3lb hike for her recent defeat. Southern raiders Raaqyah, Returning Glory and Rhosneigr are respected as is the highly consistent if slightly frustrating Hannon representative, Cheeky Rascal. Course and distance winner, Winged Spur is also noteworthy in a wide-open contest.
