See Clearly is penalised for her victory in a lady amateur's race at Thirsk a week ago but has won from higher marks in the past. Taffe is up 6lb for his victory at Pontefract but both his Turf victories have come on very fast ground, which he won't have here. LISIERE carried a big weight to victory in first-time blinkers on very testing ground at Catterick. A 5lb rise looks manageable and, providing the blinkers work again, she looks the one to beat though North Star Boy has been highly tried since scoring at Ascot last May. He's steadily come down the ratings and showed a bit more at Leicester last time so should be in the mix. Colbyor scored on soft ground at Nottingham in May and ran well from today's mark at Ayr last time while Love Island is very consistent though a 6lb rise for her Thirsk success makes things more difficult.
