      Verdict

      CROWNED EAGLE hasn't scored for over a year but he's far from being one to give up on and shaped well when third to Red Verdon is a decent Doncaster conditions race. He's actually been dropped a couple of pounds for that effort and looks feasibly treated here. King's Advice has an obvious chance as form figures reveal but he has to prove himself as effective on Turf as has been the case on artificial surfaces. The jury is out on Frankuus but Mukhayyam wins in his turn and Claire Underwood has been performing consistently on the all-weather and also has a course win to her name so is not discounted.
