Verdict

Havana Cooler was a 50/1 chance when runner-up to Mujazif at Newmarket in October. The third subsequently won easily so Luca Cumani's charge will prove difficult to beat. Heroine Required also made a promising start in testing conditions at York and should do well in her second season but race-fitness may hold the key here and HARBINGER LASS looks the one to be on. She began her career with an excellent run in a Newbury maiden last week where she showed good pace throughout and is taken to go one better. Tim Easterby's Bannockburn Boy, the second foal of a mare who has already produced a winner at around this trip, could prove best of the remainder.
