Ezanak won a Beverley seller for Mick Appleby but was bought out of the yard in the subsequent auction and runs off a 3lb higher mark here. Sulafaat’s recent second came on Tapeta, which is her preferred surface, while Optima Petamus has only won one of his 48 career starts. GRACEFUL ACT won this in 2016 and was second last year. Ron Barr’s veteran won at Beverley two runs ago so is still capable of a prominent showing at this level.
