    In depth

    Verdict

Staxton landed a course and distance double in August beating both Mr Lupton and Citron Major in the process. He returns to action only 3lb higher while Desert Safari made a winning reappearance when successful at Kempton and has been raised the same amount. Muscika won twice at York last season and wasn’t beaten far over the minimum trip at Beverley recently while FORTAMOUR (NAP) should be sharper for a recent outing at Redcar. The latter is now back on the same mark as when scoring at Ascot last autumn and Ben Haslam’s charge can land this.
