Verdict

RUBIS looks a solid selection in this ladies' race with Emma Sayer booked. The filly, in good nick this term, confirmed her well-being with a cosy soft ground success at Ayr last time but handles quicker conditions - her style of racing suggests she'll not be inconvenienced by the step up in distance. Strictly Art is another unproven over 1m4f but the nature of an all-the-way success at Goodwood this month over 1m2f indicated he'll handle the extra quarter of a mile. Rainbow Lad and Serena Brotherton look a useful combination and are short-listed along with Ted's Brother, who is partnered by the ever-improving Page Fuller. The presence of Lisa O'Neill for Gordon Elliott on decent hurdler Presenting Julio suggests the Irish raider will also prove a threat.
