After winning at Newmarket and Chelmsford last year, Ummalnar finished third in a Listed race at Saint-Cloud. He is making a belated reappearance but has the class to go close under top weight. Mutamaded ran well at York when unfancied but that was over 1m4f. Mulligatawny arrives in terrific form as does Harbour Breeze, though the latter has been doing his winning on the all-weather. Gulf Of Poets has slipped to a fair mark but Dutch Uncle only won an amateurs’ race at Newbury last week. BORODIN’s first run over 1m2f at Epsom was inconclusive. He drops down a grade for this and recent rain is in his favour so he gets another chance to show he stays.
