Plenty with claims in a tough race to call. But breeding suggests LORD OF THE NILE will stay this longer trip despite having enough speed to win over 7f at Catterick earlier in the month. He beat little on that occasion but had gone close behind Yenhaab, now rated 85, at this track earlier. Others stepping up in distance include the two recent winners Solo Hunter and Dalaki though both Notebook and New Street are less exposed and make more appeal. Mustadrik finished a long way behind Old Town Boy last month but the latter was well beaten at Newmarket on his latest start albeit in better company than this. Passionate Affair found 1m4f beyond him last time but had gone close on the all-weather earlier.
