        Verdict

        Swilly Ferry is thrown in on his best form but that's been the case for a long time now. Stablemate New Leyf will be winning when getting his favoured fast ground while Johnny Cavagin won three times last year, though always at a lower level than this. Profile Star has been going well on the Polytrack and acts on Turf while Rusty Rocket was beaten less than a length at Southwell earlier this month. Mappin Time should strip fitter for his reappearance at Musselburgh but the vote goes to recent Doncaster fifth DEFENCE COUNCIL. Mel Brittain's gelding has only managed one victory in 32 starts but it did come here and he went close on several occasions last season off similar marks.
