      Verdict

      Yarmouth runner-up Fiftyshadesofred has a shout if staying this longer trip but First Light was still well beaten when third over today’s distance at Newcastle. ZOOM TIGER also finished third at Newmarket last month but the first two home are both rated 95 and Andrew Balding’s colt should be in the mix at the finish on that form. Charging Thunder is a half-brother to the useful Group 3 winner Prince Of Arran and is a newcomer to keep an eye on.
