Flying Bear arrives off the back of a victory at Chelmsford and could enjoy a fitness advantage over a few of these. Signore Piccolo usually goes well fresh, however, while Ambitious Icarus and Ruby's Day are previous course and distance winners. Gran Canaria Queen was running well off similar marks in the autumn but she would have preferred a quicker surface. ALASKAN BULLET hasn't won since 2012 but is a speedy sort who was holding his own at a higher level last summer. He hasn't raced since August but is handicapped to go close if fully wound-up.
