      Verdict

      Mark Johnston and Tim Easterby have won four of the five previous renewals between them. The former runs Casila, who looks high enough in the weights on recent form, while the latter counts on recent course and distance runner-up Multellie. Samsonite won an amateurs' race over 1m2f at Pontefract last time but KERRYMERRY is preferred on her earlier second to More Mischief over today's trip at Hamilton as the latter has since won again. Cosmic Statesman continues to rise in the handicap despite not winning and Bollihope's win at Haydock came in maiden company.
