This is a really competitive sprint handicap and the we are happy to side with VALERY BORZOV over Markab, Excusez Moi and Everymanforhimself. Trainer David Nicholls is a master in these type of events and the selection was far from disgraced at Goodwood earlier in the month. In fact he caught the eye back in sixth in that contest and from a good draw he can get his head in front. Markab finished just in front of our selection at Goodwood last time so he is an obvious contender here, although the draw has not treated him so kindly today. Excusez Moi ran a good race behind Knot in Wood last time and although he is off a high enough mark at present, he continues to run with credit. Everymanforhimself bounced back to form at Haydock last time when he won a competitive handicap. That was only his third win in 23 starts so he is not one to back with confidence. Advanced is better than he showed last time but the draw is against him here, while the return to a faster surface is a plus for Jimmy Styles. An open handicap and the vote goes to Valery Borzov.
