        Verdict

        Whiteandgold made all for a comfortable victory on fast ground at Redcar and, though penalised, is likely to take some catching again. ROSEBRIDE came up against the odds-on Pretty Vacant at Leicester and, though she never threatened, stayed on nicely and with that experience behind her can go one better. Melaniemillie ran very well over an extra furlong here before landing a York seller in very good style while Mark Johnston's very speedily-bred Climax is one to keep an eye on.
