        Verdict

        Gran Canaria Queen won last year’s renewal but remains out of form despite slipping back to a winning mark. A 5lb rise for winning over track and trip last month proved beyond Avon Breeze at Chester last time so a chance is taken GLENROWAN ROSE fares better raised 4lb for winning a conditions race at Hamilton. She was well ahead of Holy Grail on that occasion while Plagiarism drops in class and Giddy returns to action having disappointed at Ayr when last seen in action in September.
