Not surprisingly Asaateel has shown improved form for being stepped up in trip this season and John Dunlop's colt is taken to follow up his recent Bath success at then main expense of Toldo and Royal Flynn. The last mentioned is now 9lbs higher than when successful at Catterick last month and was beaten off a lower mark at Pontefract last time so may be in the grip of the handicapper at present. Mick Channon's Mahmjra receives weight all round and lost no caste in defeat behind Bullwark last time so has to be respected along with Gerard Butler's Haiban, who should improve for his recent reappearance. The handicapper has given Just Waz a chance, while Kindling represents the yard of Mark Johnston that always has to be respected. Toldo has done little wrong this term and should again run his usual good race but preference is for Asaateel, who is taken to follow up his Bath win.
