Ralph Beckett doesn't often send runners to Ripon so it might be a clue in itself that he saddles CHEVISE in this maiden. The Hampshire based trainer has won twice at this venue this season from two runners and this improving sort can make it three from three after a near miss on her last run. No Poppy has gone close a few times but now looks thoroughly exposed in this company, so Bajan Bear might be more of a danger after three progressive runs. Investment World is the most interesting newcomer but the stable's record with juvenile debutants this season isn't great. Chevise seems to have been found a good opportunity to score.
