This is a competitive handicap and many would have chances on their best form, but Mafaheem, Briannsta, Hanseatic League and Tagula Sunrise are all shortlisted and the vote is given to Tagula Sunrise. The selection has not always been the most straightforward but she showed signs that the penny was beginning to drop with her towards the end of last season when she won a couple of races. She remains lightly-raced, has conditions to suit and she looks to have an outstanding chance of getting her head in front on this her seasonal reappearance. Hanseatic League won when last seen out in October, but he was all-out to do so that day when beating Puya and although there may be more to come, others are preferred on this occasion. Mafaheem is the other Johnston runner and he is sure to improve for his debut run when he got the better of Pivotal's Princess. He obviously has to be feared here and he should go well. Briannsta remains well-rated and he is fit from a recent outing at Kempton behind Royal Orissa. He is probably better over slightly further but with his yard in good form he merits plenty of respect. This is a competitive race with some useful types in opposition, but for the winner we return to the Richard Fahey-trained Tagula Sunrise.
