Excel Power faces no easy task under a welter burden so preference is for PISANELLO as he caught the eye in defeat at Thirsk and remains on a handy mark if he copes with the surface. Tim Easterby puts up a pair of worthy challengers in Cassy O and Garden Oasis with the latter starting to look well treated. It’s some time since a three-year-old won this prize but Whitefeathersfall would have a chance if recapturing his best form.
