Adam's Ale has been bumped up 7lb for an easy victory over track and trip last month but Marjorie Fife’s sprinter is still fairly treated on past form and another big run is anticipated. Simon Crisford has sent the consistent Stanhope up from Newmarket for his reappearance. Paddy Power wasn’t beaten far at Thirsk after a pipe-opener at Doncaster while The Armed Man and Mujassam also enter the equation. Venturous was running well off higher marks in the autumn and has had a wind operation since last seen but MAGICAL EFFECT (NAP) has an excellent record over this course and distance and will have benefited from a promising reappearance over 7f at Catterick.
