    Verdict

High Waves and Romanor made only modest handicap debuts but the former is expected to improve over this extra distance. Tor doesn’t look particularly well handicapped and Kilowatt is upped 4lb for winning by a head over track and trip last month. Crushed went close in a classified contest at Doncaster on his reappearance and is another attempting a longer trip but CAPE COAST won his maiden by six lengths over 1m4f at Pontefract and Mark Johnston’s colt gets the nod with Silvestre De Sousa keeping the winning partnership intact.
