Wiseman's Diamond isn't exactly consistent but won this a year ago and also scored on heavy ground at Pontefract in May so shouldn't be overlooked. Collateral Damage is going for his 10th victory but the last of them was in 2009. He's now dropped to a very lowly mark but hasn't been running well enough to be considered. IZZET was having his 15th start when gaining his first success at Redcar last month but looked ideally suited by soft ground and won comfortably. He's up 6lb as a consequence but with conditions in his favour can complete a double. Triple Eight, who had run very well at Newcastle previously, hung badly left when challenging and should get closer on the revised terms and Horatio Carter went to Beverley on Saturday with a favourite's chance but couldn't cope with First Class Favour and this looks no easier.
