Qawaafy's absence has probably deprived us of the likely winner so we might take a chance on YOUNG JAY. One of two newcomers from the Johnston yard, he's better drawn than stablemate Outset and also looks likely to be more suited by the 1m trip at this stage of his career. Cupertino looked nothing special when a beaten favourite at Thirsk while the filly Primary Route has been well beaten in both starts to date. Iptisam didn't reach the racecourse when with Godolphin but is nicely bred and James Tate starts him off at a realistic level. It would be no surprise if the four-year-old got involved.
