      Verdict

Wentworth Falls remains 6lb higher than when scoring at Doncaster in June while Fairy Stories returns to action having landed a hat-trick over the minimum trip last autumn. Roundhay Park won a lower grade sprint at York recently and Bossipop is preferred to stablemate Staxton having scored over track and trip earlier but another course and distance winner in CITRON MAJOR makes most appeal. The latter beat subsequent Stewards’ Cup third Brian The Snail last time, with the re-opposing Captain Jameson and Royal Residence both well beaten, and Nigel Tinkler’s charge should go close again.
