Cottesmore stepped up markedly on his debut when second on the Polytrack last month but Newmarket raiders are expected to dominate this maiden. The once-raced Mutarjim should do better this year and Pulverize has been placed in all four starts so far and is expected to be suited by the step up in distance but we still prefer ACE OF VALHALLA. Also trying a new trip, Sir Henry Cecil's colt went down with all guns blazing behind Sheila's Buddy in a Sandown handicap last time and a repeat of that effort would probably suffice here. Roc De Prince has only found one too good at Doncaster and Hamilton but may need more here.
