      Verdict

Spruzzo won this a year ago and produced the shock of the season so far when gaining a 100/1 success at Pontefract when 14lb out of the handicap. From his correct mark here he should go well but KING IN WAITING is a more likely winner. David O'Meara's charge showed his liking for this trip and fast ground when making all at Redcar last week and a 6lb penalty doesn't look enough to prevent a quick follow-up. Petella ran poorly on her return on ground with some give at Musselburgh but that was her first start since October and her overall form gives her a big chance. Paul Hanagan's booking for Leaving Alone is a plus but his mount is still a maiden after 18 starts.
