      Verdict

      The maiden Optician placed at Wetherby and Carlisle in June but has gone off the boil again. She finished behind EDWINA SHEERAN (NAP) at Thirsk last month and the top weight beat Blue Antares on worse terms here in July when completing back-to-back course and distance victories. The latter beat Lincoln Rockstar over track and trip last month and Night Life hasn’t been beaten far the last twice. Mascani won over 1m2f at Beverley two runs ago but has disappointed since at Nottingham.
