Verdict

FOUR WHEEL DRIVE was having his first start for David Brown and returning after a long break when just failing to make all in a Class 5 handicap at Beverley where he was only passed in the closing stages by the prolific Ginger Jam, who has won again since. That form looks superior to that of Fairy Fast, another who has changed yards after a poor run over 6f here last month. She's only 6lb higher than when landing a handicap here in May so a return to that level of form would put her in the frame. Skeetah has been very disappointing after a solid racecourse debut while it's a very long time since Champagne Mondays ran over the minimum though he's shown decent speed over 6f.
