        Verdict

        Operateur didn't appear to last home over 2m last time but has won over this trip and has to go on the short-list dropping into a seller for the first time. Market support for Quintain would be interesting while Wolverhampton runner-up Blue Top can probably be forgiven a subsequent run on the Fibresand, though usually finds at least one too good. PETROL has been rested since failing to justify favouritism in a Newcastle handicap in April and is 3lb higher now but this still looks well within his range with Torero getting no nearer top breaking his duck.
