Verdict

Better is expected from Lady Intrigue after her modest debut at Musselburgh last season and jockey bookings suggest she's preferred to stablemate and newcomer Lord Emerson. Tom Tate also runs two and Kool Shuffle is preferred to the debutant Eagle Rock after his improved effort at Beverley last time. However, the 160,000gns colt SHALLOON travelled well for a long way in soft ground at Hamilton on his debut and Mark Johnston's charge gets the nod to open his account with that experience under his belt. Andiamo Via makes his belated debut but is bred for longer trips and the remainder make little appeal.
